1 Question to be addressed by speakers: ‘What can be done to improve local democracy?’
2 AW to ask Ilford Recorder to Chair
3  A minutes silence at beginning of meeting for those who died campaigning for right to vote.
4 8 speakers to be arranged no more than 5 minutes each with chair allowing some 1 or 2 questions and comments from audience after each speaker with 30 minutes of public questions at end.
5 Confirmed speakers Cllr Deakins, G Eglin, L Pearce, M Sharma, A Walker. Greg to give brief outline of how we won the vote and that speaker would also be asked to address the same debate question as the rest of the speakers at the end of their talk.

6 Bob to encourage Jas to send Female Cllr to speak
7 AW to write to Cllr Canal
8 AW to sort leaflet
9 Bob to find young person to speak from Redbridge Youth Parliament
10 MPs not to be invited, although welcome to speak from floor
11 AW to ask JA to plug meeting on Council Website
12 At end of the debate a form with an open question about what the audience would like to see changed to be given out

Photo Shoot to plug suffrage meeting this Monday 29th Jan 1pm Redbridge Town Hall

Cllr Jas Athwal, the Leader of Redbridge Council along with representatives of other parties and no party affiliation will lead a photoshoot outside Redbridge Town Hall this 1pm Monday 29th January to plug our suffrage meeting in February. All welcome who would to celebrate the important centenary of the law to extend voting in the UK. The Ilford Recorder will be there so it will be great to have a good turn out.
